Sarah Asplin QC (Law 1979) has been appointed a Justice of the High Court, assigned to the Chancery Division, with effect from 1st October 2012.
Called to the Bar by the Gray’s Inn in 1984, Sarah took Silk in 2002. She was the first female Fitzwilliam Law graduate to be appointed as a QC.
Sarah Asplin’s area of expertise is professional negligence and trust disputes related to pensions. She has been Head of Chambers at 3 Stone Buildings and was the driving force behind Fitzwilliam’s Career Network, which was launched in 2006.
