I am a postdoctoral research associate at the Cambridge-INET Institute, which is part of the Faculty of Economics of the University of Cambridge.
I began my studies in Economics at the University of Warwick where I obtained a BSc in this subject. I then completed an MSc in Economics at the London School of Economics and pursued a PhD in Economics at the Free University of Brussels (Université Libre de Bruxelles).
I am interested in financial economics and econometrics. In particular, during my doctoral studies, I developed a market-based measure of systemic risk and studied the importance of short selling for financial stability. I plan to build on and extend my research agenda whilst here in Cambridge.
This year, as a Bye-Fellow at Fitzwilliam College, I will be supervising third-year undergraduates interested in financial economics.
