All awards carry a value of £150 unless otherwise stated. At the end of the academic year, the Tutorial Committee identifies graduates meeting the criteria and awards them directly.

Established in 2002 by a gift from Padma Desai and her husband Jagdish Bhagwati, in honour of their daughter Anuradha Bhagwati (English, Yale University); and also in memory of her father Kalidas Lalloobhai Desai (English, 1925-27), who taught English at MTB College, Surat, India; an undergraduate prize bears his name. |
