Term Dates
Term Dates can be found on the Cambridge official website.
There are 3 terms in the Cambridge academic year:
- Michaelmas Term
- Lent Term
- Easter Term
Michaelmas and Lent Term each last 80 days, and Easter Term lasts 70 days. The academic year commences on 1st October and finishes on 30th September each year.
Full Term
Full Term is a period inside Term (unintuitively, it is shorter than Term) during which the main academic activity of the term occurs. Full Term usually lasts 8 weeks.
