Supplementing your income
Taking paid work while studying full-time at Cambridge is not permitted, so you must not expect to supplement your income in this way. There are two exceptions to this rule:
Part-time students may take on paid work.
Research students may, with the permission of the supervisor, take on a small amount of undergraduate teaching in the form of supervisions for the Colleges or other teaching duties in a Department or Faculty. However, no more than six hours of teaching may be undertaken per week and this should not be relied upon to generate a significant amount of income.
