Your College Bill
Fees, room rent, and various other costs are paid directly to the College. Payment can be by cash, cheque, credit card or direct bank payment.
Payment due dates
College bills (invoices) are issued at the beginning of each term, and will be sent by email. Tuition fees and College fees for the whole academic year are included on the Michaelmas term bill.

- Michaelmas 2012 - 10th October 2012
- Lent 2013 - 23rd January 2013
- Easter 2013 - 1st May 2013
If your fees are paid by a sponsor then the sponsor will be invoiced separately. Queries about payments can be sent to the College Bursary at college.bills@fitz.cam.ac.uk.
Items on your College bill
Room rent - charged per term, for a thirteen-week period. Rent includes electricity, heating, and water (but not telephone ). As from Michaelmas Term 2012, rent will be inclusive of computer connection charges also
Kitchen fixed charge & minimum meals charge - please see the Kitchen fixed charge page for an explanation of what these charges cover and include.
PPI Insurance - please read this PDF document for an explanation of the College's insurance scheme.
Fitzwilliam Society membership - during your time at Fitzwilliam you will pay a total of £72 for society membership, split up between terms.
Linen hire - £21, if you choose to hire linen from the College.
Fitzwilliam deposit - £200, returnable when your course is completed.
Telephone deposit - £100, for those living on the main College site.
Accident Transport Fund (also known as College Tax Service) - £10
Food/drink in the Dining Hall and Cafe Bar, included on your second College bill and on all subsequent termly bills.
Computer traffice charges, telephone charges, and printing/copying charges are included on your second College bill and on all subsequent termly bills.
