Financial Assistance for Undergraduates

The following sources of funds are available to undergraduates to offer financial assistance.

Cambridge Bursary Scheme

Exists to ensure that students can meet the cost of their Cambridge education.

National Scholarship Programme

With effect from October 2012. Through the National Scholarship Programme, students from particularly disadvantaged backgrounds are eligible to receive a £6,000 fee waiver in their first year in addition to their Cambridge Bursary as above.

Goldman Sachs Bursaries

Fitzwilliam College will offer up to five maintenance awards of £1500 per year to Home and EU candidates of outstanding promise, who are admitted to the College in October 2012.

Fitzwilliam College Maintenance Bursary

Based on individual circumstances to help cover living costs.

Access to Learning Fund

Supports students on low incomes or in vulnerable situations.

Bell, Abbott and Barnes Fund

Supports students facing unforeseen financial difficulties.

There are a number of extra funds for academic and non-academic activities that students can benefit from. Scholarships and Prizes are also awarded for academic and non-academic merit.
