Progress in English Taster Day 2018

Bookings have now opened for our annual Progress in English event which will be taking place on Monday 19 March 2018.

Progress in English 2018

Run by Fitzwilliam College, the Progress in English event is for year 12 students from state schools intending to study English at university and for their teachers. The event will provide potential applicants with a flavour of undergraduate study at Cambridge and an opportunity to explore topics beyond what’s covered within the school curriculum.

Three of our English Fellows will deliver mini lectures on a variety of topics showcasing some of the recent, exciting developments in their research fields. Students will also get the opportunity to informally tour the College and speak to current Fitzwilliam English students.

Refreshments will be provided free of charge throughout the day, as well as a complimentary lunch in our buttery.
