Visits to Cambridge

We are very proud of our beautiful gardens and award-winning architecture here at Fitzwilliam and we welcome anyone to come and see them for themselves, to discover the College's natural charm and soak up the peaceful, friendly atmosphere.

Visits to the College can be arranged at any time and we will always try to accommodate a school or college's schedule. Unlike previous years, we will be accepting visits during our interview period (4th-15th December) this year.

Visits may include:

  • Tours of the College and the city
  • Talk from an Admissions Tutor or SLO
  • Subject 'taster' sessions
  • Visits to faculty museums
  • Tailored presentations
  • Question and Answer sessions with current students

Visits may involve all of these or just a selection, and trips can last a full day or just part of a day depending on your requirements. As far as possible we will always tailor talks and activities to the age and subject interests of any group.

With groups for whom day-visits to Cambridge are not feasible, due to distance, disability or otherwise, we can offer some accommodation outside the Undergraduate Residential Period. This must be arranged with the SLO, with as much advance notice as possible.

We really would like to offer the opportunity to visit the College to as many students, teachers and parents as possible, so if you have particular requests for different activities or suggestions for new initiatives please do not hesitate to get in touch
