For convenience of College members and visitors, the whole site is covered by wireless networks. This page describes what networks are available and how to register to use them. The Fitzwilliam College IT Office has put every effort to provide good coverage in all areas; there are also network sockets available.
This wireless network, available in many educational institutions around the world, is also available everywhere at Fitzwilliam College. Those who have already connected to it elsewhere can use it straight away. If you are a member of the University of Cambridge and wish to start using eduroam, please follow the steps outlined in the link above.
Eduroam is a registered trademark of TERENA. Fitzwilliam College is independent of TERENA.
Fitzwilliam is an open network for information and links to get you connected to the eduroam network, basic contact information for the college and a Map of the college. It will allow you access to the Jackdaw signup pages to collect your initial passwords and access to the Eduroam pages at the UIS to help get your device connected to the Eduroam network.
