Please ask the staff when the status is not AVAILABLE - we will help you find what you need, which may include fetching it from our STORE, and if the book is ON LOAN please place a request via iDiscover. University Library
The Cambridge University Library is a Legal Deposit Library, meaning that it can request a copy of every book, journal, map and musical work published in Britain, and nearly every significant English-language publication worldwide. It holds over eight million books.
All members of the University are entitled to use the University Library, and since 2010 postgraduates and all undergraduates may borrow books from the Library. The Tea Room in the Library serves meals, snacks and refreshments and is one of many areas ideal for relaxed study.
The University Library can be accessed via West Road or Burrell's Walk.
