Fitzwilliam College is a home to people of all faiths and none.

During the current pandemic, the College Chaplain remains available to all College members for confidential support and guidance.  He can be contacted by

The Chaplain’s two video series ’Thought from the Chaplain’ and ‘Fitz making a difference’ are available on YouTube.

The Chaplain is available to all members of the college, irrespective of faith, for friendly support and non-judgemental listening. For those seeking religious guidance, the Chaplain is happy to direct enquirers to an appropriate chaplain of another faith or, if desired, to discuss Christian belief and practice.

There are various student groups for different faiths and traditions. Contact details for these groups, and for chaplains of various faiths, can be found in the ‘People and groups’ page.

The College Chapel is located at the heart of the college and is a space where everyone is welcome for their own quiet contemplation or prayer. The Chapel is especially set aside for quiet reflection between 1-2pm and 5-6pm and is also quiet at other times.

Services of Christian worship take place in the Chapel on term-time Sundays from 9:30am and 6:30pm. The Sunday evening service features the College choir. All college members are welcome to attend chapel services.
