What's On in Chapel

During Full Term, the main services in the College Chapel take place each Sunday. Whether you consider yourself religious or not, you are very welcome to our services.

Morning service at 9:30am (40 mins) -  Holy Communion of bread and wine. Followed by breakfast in K11b.

Evening service at 6:30pm (1 hour) - includes guest preacher, and music from the Chapel Choir. The service is followed by soup and pizza in the Fellows' Parlour.

University Sermons usually take place on two Sundays each term at Great St Mary's (The University Church) at 11:15am. All of the Colleges and Heads of Houses are represented there to take part in the service and hear a widely acclaimed guest preacher. The opportunity to question the preacher following the service is offered over refreshments following the service in Michaelhouse, adjacent to the church.

Fitzwilliam Chapel has links with our neighbouring college, Murray Edwards, whose members are always welcome to join us.

All are welcome to Daily Prayer which is said in the Chapel between 9:15am-9:30am on weekdays, excluding Wednesdays.

You can download the Lent 2020 Term Card for more information.

Quiet Times

The Chapel is always open to those who wish to pray or to simply sit for quiet reflection.

The space is especially set aside for quietness between 1-2pm and 5-6pm.
