The Middle Combination Room (MCR) is the social and academic body representing Masters students, PhD students and undergraduates in their fourth year of study.
Constitutionally the MCR is part of the Junior Members Association (JMA) together with the Junior Combination Room (JCR), but it has a separate budget and committee. The elected MCR committee (MCRC) plans social, academic and welfare events, administers rooms in The Grove and represents the interests of graduates within the College and the University.
The Middle Combination Room (MCR) - not only the name for the community of postgraduate students, but also the common rooms for their use. At Fitzwilliam the MCR is housed inside The Grove, an elegant 19th-century house in the very centre of the College.
The images below and right show some of the things Fitzwilliam postgraduate students have been getting up to in the last year. Find out more on the MCR's own website.

All made easy by help and support from the MCR.
