Fitz Events launched at Fitzwilliam College

An exclusive event was held this week at Fitzwilliam College to celebrate the official launch of our conference and events offering – Fitz Events.

Guests were shown around our wonderful conference and meeting facilities thanks to personal tours from the Events team.

Alumnus and Fitzwilliam Fellow surgeon Kourosh Saeb-Parsy undertook a thorough presentation of the range of events that can be offered at the College and his many positive experiences in hosting events at Fitzwilliam over the years.

Our new Master Baroness Morgan welcomed guests and Bursar and Fitz Fellow Andrew Powell demonstrated the importance of external business in helping the College achieve its charitable aims.

Robert Clarke, Head of Catering and Events gave an overview of the variety of conference and meeting facilities to guests, before drinks and canapés showcasing the excellent food on offer at the College were enjoyed by all.

Robert said: “We are delighted to relaunch our meetings offering today and to demonstrate our capability for hosting events of all kinds. Our new Events team is highly experienced in helping clients to create memorable occasions – whether it’s a small gathering or a much larger residential conference.

“Not only can we provide excellent facilities, we can also add value to our clients’ events with our flexible and creative approach.”
