Dr Sireesha Chamarthi
Research Associate
I am Sireesha Chamarthi, currently working as a Data Validation Scientist at the Institute of Astronomy. My work primarily focuses on developing data validation and anomaly detection systems for high-dimensional astronomical time-series datasets. Prior to this role, I worked at the German Aerospace Centre – Institute for Data Science, where I focused on adapting deep learning models to unseen domains in medical settings. My experience spans working with multimodal data, including images and time series. During my PhD at the Indian Institute of Astrophysics, I developed data analytics pipelines for high-resolution spectral time-series data in astronomy, involving statistical and predictive analyses.
