Do you have a passion for English Literature? This exciting and interactive after-school Subject Taster session is designed to provide potential applicants with a flavour of undergraduate study at Cambridge, and an opportunity to explore topics beyond what is covered within the school curriculum.

- Join current undergraduates for small-group interactive sessions in the style of Cambridge supervisions

The event is free of charge and will be hosted on Zoom. A link to the webinar will be sent out to attendees before the event.

Time: 5.30pm (recorded material to be sent 24 hours in advance)
For: Year 12 students (or equivalent) attending a UK state-maintained school. Students may be accompanied by a teacher.
Cost: There is no cost to attend this event

The number of participants in this event are limited in order to promote interactivity. In the event of over subscription, places will be allocated according to widening participation criteria. Completing the registration form does not guarantee a place.
English Taster Day feedback
The 2019 English Taster Day took place on Monday 18 March 2019.
The Taster Day consisted of a series of taster sessions given by experts in the field of English, including Hero Chalmers the Director of Studies in English at Fitzwilliam College. There were also talks on applying to Cambridge and tours of the College. Attendees had the opportunity to chat informally with current English students throughout the day.
