Fitzwilliam is a Cambridge community like no other. From its early days operating out of Fitzwilliam House to finding its place today perched on the hill, more than 150 years later, it has remained a place of opportunity for all.
In July 2019, the College successfully closed its 150th Anniversary Campaign with a total of £23.5 million raised – almost 20% above the £20 million goal. This was made possible by the generosity and leadership of our Campaign Committee, including the philanthropic and strategic contributions of many generous donors.
The last two years have been two of the most challenging for the College in its history. As Fitz looks to recover from an extremely difficult period, and emerges at a juncture in its history, we are reminded of the importance of alumni support. Will you help us to invest in our community? A gift to Fitz would enable us to:
• Support our students both financially and pastorally – our undergraduate bursaries and postgraduate studentships enable our students to flourish here and benefit more fully from the opportunities that Cambridge has to offer.
• Continue our tradition of widening access for all through our outreach work and mentoring.
• Maintain our world-class teaching and research, in particular the Supervision system - the hallmark of a Cambridge education.
• Create a sustainable environment by updating our current accommodation and planning new capital projects.
Your support will enable Fitz to provide future generations of students with the opportunities and support to thrive. Making your donation to Fitz has never been easier! Gifts can be made online or by contacting the Development Office directly.
