Women in Engineering Application Webinar

Do you identify as a woman/non-binary? Are you thinking of studying Engineering at University?

Fitzwilliam College will be holding an online webinar with lecturer Dr Christelle Abadie on September 27th at 5pm, which will involve discussion about the importance of including women in engineering, as well as application advice!

The event is open to Year 12 students who identify as female or non-binary and want to learn more about Engineering courses.

Dr Abadie will be joined by Dr David Cole, Director of Studies for Engineering at Fitzwilliam College, and Dr Robert Abayasekara, Fitzwilliam admissions tutor for sciences, who will help answer application-related questions, including questions about personal statements and interviews.

This event is free of charge and will be hosted on Zoom. Links will be sent out to attendees the morning before the event.

For: Female and non-binary Year 12 (or equivalent) students

Cost: Free.

As a webinar, students will not be able to converse directly with lecturers but will be able to submit any questions via a moderated chat function.

In the event of over-subscription, places will be allocated according to widening participation criteria. Completing the registration form therefore does not guarantee a place.
