Fitzwilliam will be open to prospective applicants at the Cambridge University Open Days, which will be taking place on Thursday 4 and Friday 5 July 2024.

You will need to complete a booking form here for the Cambridge Open Days. This covers the centrally-organised events including everything happening in person on the open days and the warm up webinars running in the lead up.

What will be on at Fitz?

We will be running drop-in college tours, led by current students, from 09:00 to 17:00 on both days. This will give you the opportunity to see some of our undergraduate accommodation, as well as our other facilities. No separate booking is needed for these, you just book for the Cambridge Open Days and then turn up. Visitors will also be given a voucher for a free ice cream from our coffee shop!

The Fitz Admissions team will also be on hand to help with application questions, as well as any other queries you may have about studying at Fitz.

Travelling to Fitz

We expect that parking in and around Cambridge will be extremely busy for the Open Days and so recommend that you travel to Cambridge by train or bus. If you decide to drive, you should use city’s Park and Ride (P&R) services to travel into the city. The P&R sites may fill up early in the day so please allow plenty of time to travel in case your intended P&R site is full.

For travelling around the city, we advise you to travel by public transport or walking. Fitzwilliam is a 15 minute walk from the city centre.

What if I can’t make it to an Open Day?

Don’t worry! If you would like to visit Fitz on another date then please contact schools.liaison@fitz.cam.ac.uk and we can try and arrange a tour for you.
