Visiting Us
Prospective applicants can visit to College for our Y12 Visit Days. Students will be able to take part in a range of sessions, including:
- College Tours
- Personal Statement Workshops
- Interview Workshops
- Application support sessions
Selection Criteria
Students can apply as individuals, or teachers can apply for a group of up to 20 students.
We will allocate places on the basis of widening participation criteria.
Students are prioritised based on the following criteria:
- Care-experienced
- Refugee status
- FSM
- First Generation
School characteristics will also be considered, and we will look at:
- Progression to Oxbridge
- IMD quintile (prioritising 1 & 2)
Getting to us
We cannot offer parking on the day so schools/students will need to park at Madingley Road Park and Ride and walk to the College (approx 20 mins) or get the UBus or the P&R. Parking for those with accessibility needs will be made available on request - please email schools.liaison@fitz.cam.ac.uk
Arriving by Train
If you arriving by train, please go to Cambridge station (CBG). From here you can get the UBus to Storeys Way.
Arriving by Coach
If your coach arrives to parkside you can get the 5/6 bus to Fitzwilliam College
If your coach arrives to Trumpington Road P&R then you can get the A Bus to Shire Hall (the walk to the College from here is approx 7 mins)
